Educator: Amanda Honda, MA Early Childhood Education
Day & Time: Tuesday 8:30 am - 10 am
The second half of your baby’s first year is a season of big leaps in movement, communication, curiosity, and connection. Mama 103 is a six-week course designed for moms with babies ages 6 to 12 months, offering support and community as you navigate this lively, sometimes challenging, and always meaningful stage.
Each week, we’ll dive into how to nurture your baby’s gross motor development, introduce play-based learning, and teach them about their body in fun, gentle ways. You’ll learn how to encourage early communication, support turn-taking skills, and create opportunities for meaningful interaction through simple daily play. We’ll also explore age-appropriate eating and nutrition, making mealtimes a positive, connected experience as your baby becomes more independent.
Weekly Highlights:
Week 1: Brainy Baby - Supporting Baby’s Cognitive Development
Week 2: Kind Baby – Supporting Communication & Early Pro-Social Skills
Week 3: Independent Baby – Supporting Baby’s Autonomy
