To help keep every child safe and cared for in the event of an emergency, we maintain a 3-day supply of shelf-stable food for each child at school. Each kit includes age-appropriate breakfasts, lunches, snacks, fruit, and other familiar foods that can be served without refrigeration or cooking. Kits are individually designated for each child and stored with our emergency supplies.
The $30 Emergency Food Kit fee covers the food, packaging, storage, and replacement of items as needed to keep our emergency supplies fresh and ready to use.
